Doobie Nights is an immersive experience designed to take you on a wild ride somewhere completely out of this world. We promise a cannabis retail experience like no other, with state of the art sculptural installations, lighting design and constantly evolving projection mapped graphics, balanced with a welcoming community atmosphere, a wide selection of quality products, and a fun and friendly vibe.
The dispensary is adorned with sculptural installations infused with state of the art architecturally mapped LED lighting. This combination was designed by Carey Thompson of Galactivation, who is an internationally respected artist. Brian Pinkham of Photonic Bliss developed the lighting technology incorporated into the design of our store’s interior. To further enhance the experience, our illuminated sculptures are tastefully blended with projection mapped digital art and animation by Albertico Acosta and Virginia Barach of Tico Sighting.
Our friendly staff and interactive touch screens are here to offer more information on brands and products, make personalized recommendations and help make your shopping experience more magical. Whether you choose to order online, browse the shelves in the store, or opt for quick and convenient curbside pickup, we hope to offer something unique and make you feel special every time you visit Doobie Nights.

Julia grew up right here in Santa Rosa and is a long-time fan of cannabis even though Doobie Nights was her first job in the industry. It’s definitely clear that she has customer service experience — her friendly smile and cannabis knowledge run deep. She is quickly becoming an expert on how cannabinoids like CBD and CBN work, and if you need recommendations on our best blunts, definitely hit her up!
Some people are just naturals at what they do and that’s certainly true of Julia. Her upbeat attitude helps keep our team in great spirits. Julia says her favorite part of working at Doobie Nights is “Seeing how happy customers are when they shop and how amazed they are at our store.” It’s always awesome when first-timers step thru the portal and have their minds blown, and Julia loves facilitating this experience. Come say hi next time you stop by the store!
Megan came to Northern California as a “red state refugee” from Idaho, where there is little hope of weed ever being legal, in search of greener pastures. Literally. After living on the Mendocino Coast for ten years, she moved to Santa Rosa just as recreational cannabis was becoming legal in California and shifted from primarily festival marketing (with a little weed work on the side) to cannabis marketing (with a little festivaling on the side).
Megan is a one person Marketing department at Doobie Nights, overseeing the website, in-store promotions, advertising, social media, text and email campaigns, and event planning. She helps turn the team’s wild ideas into reality and takes a lot of notes at meetings, because, well, we’re all stoners around here. When she’s not creating content or responding to your comments on Instagram, she is likely gardening, buying her cats Mochi and Boba way too many toys, or planning her next traveling adventure.
Another Sonoma County native who grew up moving around the area, Mariah came to Doobie Nights after working in a cannabis production warehouse as a quality assurance technician, where she gained a lot of knowledge and experience with the plant. She’s also a certified lash technician who hopes to make it her full time job someday, so if you’re interested in lash extensions be sure to hit her up. She’s been “in love with Mary Jane” ever since her first gravity bong hit made her cough for literally 10 minutes and blasted her into space. We’ve all been there!
Mariah says her favorite part of her job is “Meeting new people, and helping people find products that help them get through their days easier.” She is a great person to ask about anything vape, dabs, or flower related and she’ll make sure you’re in good hands no matter what you pick from our shelves. We are so grateful to have Mariah’s positive energy and expertise on team Doobie Nights!
Brandon grew up in Cottonwood, CA and was a barista before coming to Doobie Nights, which certainly seems to have left him with excellent customer service skills. Brandon is a dabber with a deep well of knowledge on all things concentrates and extraction methods. His favorite product on our menu currently is Humboldt Terp Council Live Rosin. He enjoys playing guitar and video games while elevated.
Brandon quickly excelled at Doobie Nights has shown consistent badassery and demonstrated reliability over his years here. He’s your go-to guy if you need recommendations on the latest live resin to hit our shelves, or apparently if you just want a really good PB&J. Brandon’s favorite part of working at Doobie Nights is “Either walking in first thing and getting the lights and music going, or introducing a first timer to cannabis and giving them the best experience possible both with cannabis and Doobie!”

Sunny has always got a great smile and a product recommendation to share. A Santa Rosa native, she can definitely tell you all about this area's hidden gems! Sunny is also a brand ambassador and knows her way around our menu, so be sure to ask what her favorites of the moment are. There’s always more to keep learning in the world of weed, and Sunny is definitely on it!
Always ready to help, Sunny's favorite part of the job is “educating someone on something they didn’t already know about cannabis” – we have to agree, it’s all about sharing knowledge and experiences with our canna community. Whether she’s chipping in on highway cleanup day or keeping things organized around the store, Sunny is a go-getter and we are super stoked to have her aboard the good ship Doobie Nights.

Doobie Nights is the brainchild of Damon Crain, a long-time local cannabis cultivator, and his local friends who became business partners. Damon had quit his corporate job and “retired,” to run a sustainable farm on his spread near Safari West. But the Tubbs fire of October 2017 claimed his house and set those plans back. “So I decided to go into retail for awhile, and see what I could do.”
The fire provided a harsh reality check for him and many others in the industry during the first year after recreational legalization, but he envisioned something truly unique that would change the cannabis shopping experience and transport customers somewhere else entirely.
“This is not just about creating a cannabis space,” he said. “It’s about a community space, and that’s what we found out by doing something different. Many of our customers have never been in a cannabis dispensary, and they’re coming in to see the art and then maybe buying a soda or dipping their toe in the industry or just checking out the space.”
Whether you’re an old school head or just cannabis curious, Damon and the team welcome you to Doobie Nights with open arms!
